After having only girls; adding a boy to the mix has been a fun adventure. It has also forced me to expand my pattern collection. Boys really do not have a lot of options, so I started making custom clothes for him. I let my son pick out his fabric and go from there.
The Xavier shirt is his go-to. Simply because we can find all of his favorite characters in the fabric needed. It is a very versatile shirt that can be worn with any combination. Honestly, he wears his Xavier's with sweatpants and it's the cutest thing.
The Xavier is made with cotton fabric, and has buttons down the front for closure. It can be made with short or long sleeves. There is also an option for a straight or curved hem. For a visual, check out the picture listed. The picture can also be used to design a truly unique shirt. Have fun, and let's get creating.
